I Once Attended A Revolutionary Conference Back In My University Days And Here’s What The Speaker Said….

“…there are two mental extremes – the Very Intelligent and the Very Dumb. Nobody is average.

The VERY DUMB are comfortable at the status quo. They enjoy the normal life. They are very scared of change, reformation or revolution. They are afraid to question authority. They are weaklings whose only strength lies in their muscles. They love easy routes to success and detest rigorous processes. This is largely because their minds are lazy and weak and thus cannot withstand the tough winds that bring about change. Unfortunately, there are more of these in the world hence the huge resistance to revolutionary causes – whether those causes be religious reformation or political revolution. The Very Dumb resist such causes. Top 15 common traits of very dumb people

Then there’s this influential class – the VERY INTELLIGENT class. They hate the status quo. They question everything – everything and everyone. They are disruptive – very disruptive. They come into a space, point out what’s not right and fix it. They go against the crowd like a whale swimming against oceanic currents. They hate easy routes and despise easy challenges. They give their lives to revolutionary causes having understood that the basic purpose of life is to live for others. They are called MAD MEN or CRAZY WOMEN by those who enjoy the status quo.

Common traits of highly intelligent people

They are judged to be abnormal by those who have retired to a normal life. These disruptors are the fathers and mothers of every form of civilization…they are the reason why we have the internet…they are the reason why your country has independence…they are the reason why twins are no longer killed in Africa…they are the reason why Protestants broke out from the Catholic… Without them in a generation, that generation is lost. Hate them, love them but you can’t ignore them. Though few in number, but they never leave any space the same way they found it.”

Then he asked us – “where do you belong?”

My name is Charles Awuzie and I want to ask you WHERE DO YOU BELONG?

MARANATHA!
