“RELIGION” is one of the worst things that have ever happened to this world. Countless billions of people have been deceived by false religion. It is better to have no religion than to have a wrong one.

Truth has often been hidden from the people by false religion. The best place to hide a LIE is between two TRUTHS and that is exactly what false religion has done. Truth can be dealt with very easily, but to deal with a lie is often difficult.

Take away the TRUTH, a LIE will remain. The only way to deal with falsehood and counterfeiting is to walk in the light of truth absolutely (seek truth from the Bible), because “half-truth” is still a lie.

The modern day churches have blindfolded their converts and prevent they from seeking the truth from their Bible. Claiming that they are the only God’s spoken person on the earth. They never allow people to search the scriptures by themselves like the Berean Christians in Acts 17:11.

They have taken the advantage of hardship and economic crisis in the world to deceive their converts and make money from them (2 Peter 2:3). By watering down the Bible truth, they have attracted more converts to their own churches (2 Timothy 4:3,4).

What majority of people are practicing today, is NOT the Christianity taught by Jesus Christ and His apostles. It’s a Christianity invented by men and that Christianity is nothing but “RELIGION”.

I am well aware that thousands of you, who will read this post, are very sincere in their desire to be Christian. You truly think that the form of Christianity you grew up practicing is what Jesus Christ and His apostles taught.

Many people assume that every church is following the beliefs, teachings and practices of Jesus Christ. But then, the Bible had shown that NOT every church is actually doing the will of God.

In Matthew 7:21-23; Jesus foretold that there will be many church leaders: bishops, general overseers, general superintendents, priests and pastors that will NOT enter the kingdom of heaven on the last day.

Reason: they have NOT done the Will of God the Father: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practised lawlessness!”

Think about this; If many of the church leaders would NOT enter the kingdom of God on the last day, what about their followers? Would their followers be able to enter? “Can a bad tree bear good fruit?” (Matthew 7:18). Not at all! Their followers would as well be rejected because, “if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch” (Matthew 15:14).

Christianity is for this reason not a matter of “sincerity” or of following the teachings of your church leaders. It is a highly personal matter. It’s a question of you finding out for yourself the “TRUTH” regarding the Christianity that Jesus Christ and His apostles had taught.

Since today’s Christianity is almost a departure from the Christianity recorded in the New Testament, it is vital you pass your own Christian practices through a beam of floodlights, to see whether they’re in line with the Christian practices recorded in the New Testament writings. If they’re not, my heart-felt admonition is that you do something about it before it too late!

Again think about this; if Christ had built just one Church (Matthew 16:18), the one that began in 33 A.D., in Jerusalem (Acts 2:41,47) and was kept as one by the early apostles (Acts 2:42,46; 15:1-19), where do all other churches that exist in the world today come from?

Studies have shown that there is an estimated 37 million different denominational churches in the world, with 50,000 new ones being added every year. And each of these churches has practices, teachings and doctrines that are at variance with those of other churches and that of the church of the early apostles.

They all claim to be followers of Christ and yet they are divided, contradicting and disagreeing with one another other, believing and teaching different things. You have one denomination here teaching one thing and another there teaching quite the opposite.

The other one that was formed the other day is somewhere teaching an entirely new thing. One of them says that item A is not a New Testament doctrine while its neighbor says it is. The one says doctrine A is unacceptable, while the next says doctrine A is acceptable to God.

Specifically, let’s see the ordination of women for instance. It’s noteworthy that while one denominational church accepts as scriptural, and practices the ordination of women as pastors or bishops, you have another denomination that rejects it in totality as being unscriptural.

On the other hand, while many a denominational church condemns the wearing of trousers by women, hair-attachments, earrings and make-ups, other denominations say this practice does not matter, just as quite a few sit on the fence concerning the issue.

In some churches, it is mandatory that women cover their heads, while it is not in other churches. Again, while some churches approve of songs and dances in the church, many other churches consider such acts as unscriptural.

Stop for a while and ponder on this issue. Is it possible that Christ is the head of all these denominational churches? Is it possible that they are all following His teachings? Does He approve of these kinds of divisions, contradictions and disagreements in His church?

And can an average person who is seeking the truth get conversion in the midst of these riots of confusion – one church here teaching and practicing one thing, another over there teaching and practicing the opposite?

“And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?” (Luke 6:39).
