FULANIZATION & ISLAMIZATION: REASON TO REJECT 1999 CONSTITUTION TODAY –
The Fulani-led overthrow and takeover of Hausa kingdoms during Sheikh Uthman Dan Fodio’s Islamist jihad (1804-08) created the Sokoto Caliphate that has dominated Nigeria’s political economy in the last half-century.
The Caliphate wrested control through deft manipulation of the military institution which arbitrarily discarded the 4-regional federal structure of the 1st Republic and created instead a 36-state Unitary government to replace what they inherited.
Decrees and ordinances were deployed, over the decades, to confiscate the stakeholders’ sovereign lands and hand the same over to a Unitary state already hijacked by the scions of the Sokoto Caliphate.
When the pressure on the military to relinquish control attained a fever pitch, both at home and internationally, the last ruling junta of the era headed by General Abdulsalami Abubakar wrote and promulgated the Decree No 24 of 1999.
This decree was later baptized to answer the 1999 Constitution after Olusegun Obasanjo’s swearing-in ceremony. A careful review of Decree No 24 of 1999 (a. k. a. 1999 Constitution) shows it to be a systematic codification of serial plots and schemes intended to formalize the rest of Nigeria as a conquered territory of the Fulani who control the Sokoto Islamic Caliphate.
The 1999 Constitution is a Fulanization and Islamization ordinance which the South and Middle Belt have separately and jointly repudiated and rejected as a basis for the future.
Now you know that “We the people…” did not make the Decree No. 24 (a. k. a. 1999 Constitution) being imposed to enslave us, we must now decisively reject the fraudulent document whose raison d’être is Fulanization and Islamization of whoever meddle with it. Join the putsch to bin the 1999 Constitution.
