WHO TO GIVE YOUR MONEY ACCORDING TO CHRIST?

CHRIST AS THE FINAL SPOKESPERSON FOR GOD:

God spoke different things to different people in different ways at different times. At these last days, He had spoken to us by His son – Hebrew 1:1-2. Christ is the final spokesman for God, for that reason, God gave Him all power in heaven and in earth – Matthew 28:18.

The Old Testament scriptures confirmed Christ as the final spokesperson for God – Deuteronomy 18:15, 18-19. And during the transfiguration, God Himself confirmed Christ as His final spokesperson: “…This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Matthew 17:5).

SO, WHO DO YOU GIVE YOUR MONEY ACCORDING TO GOD’S FINAL SPOKESPERSON? Since it’s only His words we can be right with God.

“Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and DISTRIBUTE UNTO THE POOR, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me” (Luke 18:22).

DISTRIBUTE TO THE POOR AND HAVE TREASURE IN HEAVEN:

Christ and His apostles NEVER asked anyone to give or pay tithes, sow seeds and first fruits offerings to them. These practices started after the departure of the early apostles – Acts 20:29-30; 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

Tithes, first fruits offerings and sowing of seeds are NOT required in the New Testament. Those asking you for those things are NOT following the patterns set by Christ and His the early apostles.

THE PATTERNS OF THE EARLY CHURCH:

“And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need” (Acts 2:45).

“Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,  And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need” (Acts 4:34‭-‬35).

In Matthew 28:20, Christ says, “Teaching them TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

So, if Christ had NOT commanded His early apostles to collect tithes, first fruits offerings and sowing of seeds, where do we got the idea from? Christians are commanded to observe only the doctrines taught by Christ and His early apostles – 2 John 9-10; Matthew 28:20.

Christ said to him; “Distribute to the poor and have treasure in heaven”. Money given to preachers as tithes, first fruits offerings and sowing of seeds will NEVER have any reward because it’s NOT done in obedience to Christ instruction.

If you want to be rewarded according to the scripture, stop giving your money as tithes, first fruits and seed sowing to any preacher, instead distribute it to the poor and get a treasure in heaven. On the judgment day, Christ will NEVER ask you the amount you gave to your priest or to your pastor as tithe, first fruits or seed sowing.

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:   For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:   Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me” (Matthew 25:34‭-‬36).

New Testament did NOT talk about paying tithes, first fruits and seed sowing. It talks about distributing our resources to the needy, the poor, the stranger, the fatherless and the widow.

“Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth” (Luke 12:33).

“Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality” (Romans 12:13).

“If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” (James 2:15‭-‬16).

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate” (1 Timothy 6:17‭-‬18).

“Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth” (Ephesians 4:28).

WHAT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE PREACHERS:

Preachers also should be given our resources but NOT as tithes, first fruits and seed sowing:

“He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:41‭-‬42).

“Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things” (Galatians 6:6).

RIGHT DECISION FUELS DESIRE TO DESTINATION – 8 Rules for Making the Right Decisions

Never underestimate the impact a single decision can have: one wrong move can ruin a relationship, a career, a life, etc. We must choose wisely to generate joy in our lives. But when the road forks, confusion suddenly sets in. It’s normal to feel bewildered when different options present different pros and cons. As we advance down the path of life, sudden shifts require our attention and quick thinking: Should I give this person another chance? Should I take this job opportunity? Should I invest in a new home? And under the pressure of making the correct choice, all or none of our choices may even seem right. Where, then, do we turn for guidance?

Apply these eight rules when weighing your options to ensure that your decisions always play out in your favor:

  1. Pay attention to signs. The first rule asks us to open up to obvious signs. The universe tries to offer guiding signals that we often miss or neglect if we’re not tuned in. Anything can be a sign: your late mother’s name on a truck, a person you were just thinking about calling you, receiving an offer when you need it most, etc. When you do recognize something as a sign, don’t dismiss it. Reflect on the potential message being delivered to you.
  2. Take your own advice. If you can’t take your own advice, you’ve learned it in vain. Our lifelong experiences should fortify our wisdom and clarify our choices. If 5 or 10 years ago you knew what you know now, what would you have done differently? Allow former events to dictate present decisions: What did a bad decision from a similar situation in the past teach you? If you take the same actions now, the same results will repeat. What would you advise someone else to do if they shared an issue identical to yours? Take a sip from your own fountain of knowledge and take your own advice.
  3. Keep clean your conscience. No decision should stain your spirit. Do your best to act for the good of everyone, not just for your own good. Decisions that hurt others and only benefit you will eventually turn against you. When in doubt, consult your moral code. Keep your conscience clean by making clean choices.
  4. Detach from negative emotions. Nothing keeps us stagnant like our own fear, impatience, and frustration. Moving forward with the right choices means we must eliminate these emotions. If we weren’t afraid of anything, we would act with incredible courage. If we weren’t so impatient, we would wait until the right opportunities rolled around. And if we didn’t become so easily frustrated, we would extend our perception. Understand that these feelings are impediments to the progress of your life and that when you eradicate them, your decisions no longer stem from your ego but from your highest self. Always remember this rule of thumb: never make a decision under desperation.
  5. Know your influences. We often turn to our friends for guidance when we’re confused. Why do we do this, when the right answers are all within us? When we recognize who influences us, we can discern whether their advice is causing positive or negative effects. So ask yourself: To whom am I listening, instead of listening to myself? Remember that people are naturally biased and flawed because they’re dealing with their own dilemmas. Anyone can offer you their take on what’s right but no one can offer you what’s right for you—only you can do that for yourself. Better to go within and find the solutions there.
  6. Follow your intuition. In the words of Swiss writer Johann Kaspar Lavater, “Intuition is the clear conception of the whole at once.” Our intuition puts into perspective the entirety of a situation: it takes us beyond one moment in time and reveals how things will unfold in the future. The truth is that we already know exactly what we must do and what will happen, if only we follow our internal GPS. Intuition is what feels right inside, and it isn’t just some “gut feeling;” our instincts can reshape our lives. Following our intuition helps us realize that we have the power to make the right decisions. Engage your sixth sense for a heightened perception of what to do and what to avoid. Make one decision based on your intuition. Allow yourself to be instructed by your inner voice. Note the difference in results when you over analyze versus when you intuit your way down the right path.
  7. Don’t cross red flags. Just as much as the universe offers signs, it also puts up red flags. For example, if unexplained “coincidences” are stopping you from doing something, reconsider your decision. A few years ago I wanted to work with an agent who ended up being bad news. I mailed her a check, which the post office lost. I mailed the agent another check and it got lost again! The red flags had been erected, but I barreled past them. I stubbornly sent her a third check, and unfortunately, she received that one. Soon, I came to understand why I shouldn’t have crossed the red flags. You might experience a similar example of the universe blocking something from occurring. Instead of becoming stubborn and pushing for it to happen, take a step back and reflect: Am I being saved from something bad here? This same principle holds true under all circumstances, including relationships. As much as you like someone you’ve just met, you must heed the warning signs: are they prone to lying or cheating based on their past relationships? Do they treat others poorly? Are they egocentric? You must distinguish your need to be with a partner from your need to be with this partner so as not to proceed beyond a clear boundary of red flags.
  8. Organize your thoughts Positive thoughts turn on the “possibility” switch: when we think something good can happen, we take the right actions to ensure it comes true. If we decide it’s time to meet a new partner, we may take more time getting ready in the morning, excited to look great for a potential suitor. We may take better care of ourselves, become more outgoing, and even begin a conversation with someone attractive. Introduce new prospect into your life. Write out a situation for which you must make a decision soon. Put into words the entirety of your thoughts—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Then, jot down your choices and their potential outcomes. Project what would happen if you did one thing versus if you did another. Circle the choice that you believe will lead to your highest good. Organized thoughts lead to wise decisions.

The pressure of making the right decisions can be overwhelming, but acting on these principles, our choices become infallible and our lives more rewarding.

To your best decisions,

BEYOND THE PULPIT

Donald Trump is Paula White’s spiritual son. How?

An American friend of mine who is also a pastor and businessman told me that at one point in Trump’s life, he didn’t want nothing to do with Jesus. But one day, business brought him and Paula White together. At the end of their first meeting, Trump’s staff noted that “for the first time, Trump showed so much respect to a woman”. #Trump was notorious for disrespecting women. It was his tradition to sexualise any woman he meets – especially the married ones. That was him until that day he met with Paula White. Trump was said to have mentioned to his personal assistant then that “Paula is firm and doesn’t want shortcuts.” “I am inspired by her character.” He added.

For your information, Paula White is a successful real estate investor. The first thing that brought her and Trump together was business, not ministry and by October 2007, she purchased a Trump Towers condo in New York City valued at $3.5 million,” This was reported widely in America.

Paula’s business relationship with Trump continued to have tremendous impact on the billionaire’s life even when she rarely talks about Jesus with him. Then one day, Trump asked her to help him be like her. That was the beginning of their mother-son relationship.

There’s only one point that I want to make this morning – BEYOND PULPIT MINISTRY IS MARKET PLACE MINISTRY. The apostolic mandate is not first to the pulpit, but to the market place. Jesus didn’t say “to the ends of the church” HE said “to the ends of the WORLD”. Where’s the world? Marketplace. Am I communicating?

The church missed it when we overrated pulpit ministry. Everyone in the church wants the pulpit. Give an assistant pastor the microphone to do opening prayer and he will turn it to a sermon. Not because he has something urgent from the spirit to share but because he wants to use the pulpit to show off. Choir members who are not favoured with slots to show off in a service fight with their choir leader for favoring their favourites. Senior pastors use the pulpit to reward faithfulness and friendship. We invite our friends to preach for us because they invited us to preach for them. So we trade pulpits. Chai.

To this generation, ministry starts from the pulpit and ends in a flashy lifestyle. That’s the bane of our time.

The story of Donald Trump and Paula White echoes one truth “Ministry Is Beyond The Pulpit And Microphone”. One convert you make in the market place can influence and impact an entire nation and generation. Ask Paula White. The Donald Trumps of this world are not in the church, they are in the market place.

In 2009, at camp of faith, Okigwe, Nigeria, while waiting on God, I had an encounter with Jesus. He said to me “I am sending you as my apostle to the market place. I sent so many before you but they missed their calling and opened churches. They’re stuck in their churches while the market place is over riped for harvest. I am sending you to that same market to harvest souls and wealth for My Kingdom.”

Ever since then, to the glory of God, I have seen atheists, muslims and hindus convert to the Kingdom, not because I preached to them from behind a pulpit but because I ministered to them in the market place. I run Gemsbok Group alongside Charles Awuzie Ministries International in my bid to fulfil my assignment in the market place.

Church, the real ministry is beyond the pulpit.

BREAKING: Sergeant David Bako deserts Nigerian Army, leaks how Dapchi girls’ abduction was planned in the Villa & executed with N80 millon

BREAKING: Sergeant David Bako deserts Nigerian Army, leaks how Dapchi girls’ abduction was planned in the Villa & executed with N80 millon – As many Nigerians continue to react to the Dapch girls’ kidnap drama, a certain Nigerian Christian soldier, Sergeant David Bako from the Middle Belt, Plateau State to be precise has revealed how the Dapchi girls kidnap drama was plotted and executed.

He said he found it absolutely necessary to make the confession considering the criminal killings across the country which he likened to ethnic cleansing.

In an email sent to our newsroom here in Paris, Sergeant David Bako said the plot was planned and rehearsed for two weeks by Buhari’s loyalists in the army of which he was one.

He said the desperation by Buhari to rule Nigeria for another four years drove him on to employ all means to make sure he remains in power.

President Buhari, he said, will be no pushover in 2019 because he has perfected plans to remain in the Villa beyond 2019.

Continuing the story, he said, they were given N80 million to execute the plot to restore the peoples’ waning confidence in the Buhari government as Boko Haram stepped up attacks recently which was a complete embarrassment to the Buhari government after claiming to have defeated the Islamist sect.

He said the resurgence of Boko Haram attacks and killings in the northeast drove the government to find all means possible to regain the peoples’ confidence seeing that 2019 election is as good as lost.

Buhari, he said, does not want to leave the Villa under any guise in 2019. In the email below he narrated how the plot was planned and executed.

He wrote: ”  I feel constrained to make this confession and as I make this stunning confession, I am no longer in Nigeria because I have to unavoidably desert the Nigerian Army to save my life and that of my family from a possible summary execution by Buhari’s secret agents.

BREAKING: Sergeant David Bako deserts Nigerian Army, leaks how Dapchi girls’ abduction was planned in the Villa & executed with N80 millon

Barnawi faction of Boko Haram knows nothing about the abduction of Dapchi girls. We were paid N80 million to carry out the abduction which we planned and rehearsed for two weeks to make it look real. 16 of us, strong Buhari’s loyalists took part in the plot and were given N80 million and some trucks with which to carry out the operation.

On February 19, 2017, after we had received the money, we were told to make it a top secret and further told we would be handsomely rewarded if the plan pays off. The plan, according to our unit commander, is to make Nigerians regain their confidence in the Buhari government, demobilize the PDP which we all dislike with a passion and the Obasanjo coalition which the Villa saw as an emerging threat if something is not urgently done.

Obasanjo, our commander told us will succeed in dislodging Buhari from the Villa in 2019 if we do not contrive a means to make Nigerians believe more in Buhari’s leadership.

The money we got was not paid into our accounts but was brought by car from Abuja totaling N80 million naira which was shared amongst us with trucks to carry out the operation.

On that night the soldiers stationed in the neighbourhood were deployed to other locations to enable us carry out the operation hitch-free which we did. The Boko Haram flag you saw us carrying was designed by us and had ourselves wrapped up like the insurgents.

There was no such thing like kidnapping by the Barnawi faction of the Boko Haram. We drove into the school compound in a commando style, broke through the school gate while the night guards numbering three or more ran for their dear lives as they heard our gunshots and chanting Islamic war songs amid ‘Western education is a sin”. We drove straight into the school dormitory and ordered the girls to get onto the trucks some of whom slept naked because of the scorching heat. Although we had been given warning by our commander not to molest or rough handle the girls as such action would not be tolerated under any guise.

We were given 1 hour and 45 minutes to carry out the operation from where we drove to the school and the operation did not last for more than 45 minutes to get the girls on board the trucks. So they had no time to carry any of their belongings.

We drove them to an undisclosed location which was unknown to any of us because our unit commander led the way until we arrived in where they all were carefully kept.

The claim that five of them lost their lives is of course not true as we did not kill or even shoot any of them following the strict orders and instructions that they should be treated gently, kept safe and unharmed.

While where they were kept we were told to preach to them, make ourselves look like terrorists to enable them to believe, recount and narrate what they saw which would make people believe the abduction story.

We were not allowed to go with our phones to the location where the girls were kept, therefore we could not take photographs of the girls and the location. Was there any statement released on the abduction by the Barnawi group? Was there any video footage by the Barnawi group like that of the Chibok girls? That was to make it a top secret which the government does not want to play it.

BREAKING: Sergeant David Bako deserts Nigerian Army, leaks how Dapchi girls’ abduction was planned in the Villa & executed with N80 millon

On the day we were asked to return the girls, police and our colleagues were deployed out of the route to avoid any possible confrontation – I mean with those who knew nothing about the plot.

While leaving, we told them to embrace Islam and gave them clothing because some of them were taken away naked with wrappers they slept with when we abducted them from the dormitory.

Out of the money that was shared, I got N3 million and on second thoughts I decided to return the money to my unit commander to keep it for me as I have no ready use for the money. I told him I would be traveling to Jos to see my mother who was very ill and that on return I will collect it back from him and take it to my bank.

Unsuspicious of my motives, he collected it from me and gave me five days to report to my duty post.

With the visa I had in my passport I had to go as far as Port Harcourt where no one knows me and flew out of the country while asking God forgiveness for the part I played in the whole operation.

What actually made me repent of the evil is the plot on the ground to carry out ethnic cleansing in Nigeria and as I write this piece, I make bold to say here that every Nigerian community in the southern part of the country has been infiltrated by armed militias imported from Niger, Mali, and Chad by the Buhari government to unleash terror on Nigerians if they by a twist of fate resist the ongoing ethnic cleansing.

My colleagues have often boasted that the Quran, according to the late Sardauna, must be read in the sea and that is what this government is doing. The Dapchi girls purported abduction is to make Nigerians believe the Buhari government is working and it would, therefore, make no sense to vote him out.

The remaining four years is to make him execute the hidden agenda to carry out ethnic cleansing. The plot on the ground is to have every dissenting voice executed that would be a threat to the successful execution of the agenda. That is the reason why they first came up with the cattle colonies which the southern leaders rejected.

As I write this piece, my heart bleeds for Nigeria and I regret the part I played in the abduction of the Dapchi girls to further swindle Nigerians into believing Buhari is the best person to lead the country in the coming years. Please Nigerians, I beg for forgiveness and ask you to help me with prayers to God for forgiveness in the role I played. Share this story and let it go round to save Nigerians the grave danger of allowing President Buhari to continue beyond 2018 in the Villa. I will return to Nigeria when Buhari leaves power, God willing.”
