There’s an interesting story of an axe head floating in 2 Kings 6:5-7.
On my way back to Ibadan from Lagos last Sunday, something similar happened to me. About 20 minutes drive to the Ibadan end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the rear tyre of the car in front of me stepped on pliers, and the tool became a projectile that hit my vehicle at 100Km per hour, missing my windshield by inches, and then flew over my roof. Looking through the side mirror, I saw that the vehicle behind me was not hit. All of this happened in fractions of seconds. Thank GOD, I neither lost control of the vehicle nor the windshield. I had been away to Lagos on the MASTER’S Business!
I stopped at four different places before I eventually got home that day. After eating lunch, I looked out through the window and saw an object on the vehicle outside. I immediately went to look at what it was. Lo and behold, it was the same pliers that had flown over my head on the expressway. Despite the speed, the distance covered, and the four stops, the pliers didn’t fall off. It was just ‘sitting’ there! Now, I have another pliers.
Whatever needs to stay open, on top, and available for you shall remain so, in JESUS Name. There shall be no loss!
