The Difference Between The Righteous And The Wicked Is Not Material Prosperity…
“Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power? They see their children established around them, their offspring before their eyes. Their homes are safe and free from fear; the rod of God is not upon them.
Their bulls never fail to breed; their cows calve and do not miscarry. They send forth their children as a flock; their little ones dance about. They sing to the music of tambourine and harp; they make merry to the sound of the flute. They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace.” Job 21:7-13
You see, the wicked enjoys long life, fruitfulness and the rest of the things Redeemed Sons and daughters of God cry about and even sow seeds to have. Wicked people have those things effortlessly. In fact, the Bible actually said that the wicked goes to his grave in peace. Wow. Have you not realized that the president of your country who destroyed lives through bad leadership is still alive and enjoying old age while their children are having great lives in opulence. Your bad feelings and even curses towards such people have no effect on them. Believe me. They are wicked but remember, you are not God.
The difference between the wicked and a righteous person is where they will spend eternity.
This is why Christians should stop focusing on material wealth. The blessing of the believer is not in vain things which will perish someday. Our blessing is Zoe – the incorruptible, indestructible and eternal life of God given to us through Christ Jesus. Let’s rejoice in the uniqueness of our blessing.
Mammon entered the church the day we started emphasizing more on material blessings instead of our spiritual inheritance.
Dear believer, your blessing is not of this world. If an unbeliever can buy or own the things you call a blessing, then you don’t know what the blessing is.
Change your mindset about what you call the blessing.
You might be jobless yet blessed. Unmarried yet blessed. Broke yet blessed.
Make a conscious effort to see material things as they are so you can see your spiritual inheritance as the true blessing.
Remember, even the wicked prospers so prosperity is not a big deal. It’s not a yardstick to measure your blessings.
Prosperity preachers should please take a break, we need to hear the true gospel.
We are equally blessed. We all carry the same level of spiritual blessings. God is not partial. If you fight this truth, you make God a liar. Our blessings are equal. What is not equal is our materialistic and worldly things because the world has no equality. The world is not fair. Inequality is the code of the world system. We shouldn’t bring this inequality to the body of Christ.
I speak the truth, I lie not.
