“Cain & Abel represented 2 worlds – world of the righteous and world of the evil. Yet, God still asked “where’s your brother.”
I mean God still upheld the brotherhood between a murderer and a good man, an evil soul and a righteous man. God called them brothers even after Cain proved not to respect his brotherhood with Abel, yet God had respect for that connection.
Church, you see the murderers in the jails, the gays of San Francisco and the prostitutes of the red light district, God still calls them our brothers and sisters.
On the judgment day, God will call you by name and ask you “Where’s your brother” and then you will realize that in your religiosity, you condemned your brother or your sister to hell without giving them an opportunity of experiencing salvation. You condemned the divorcee who remarried to a portion of hell too. You condemned everyone whose sins were different from yours. As far as you were concerned, you were the only person who was qualified to ‘make’ heaven. Heaven will shock you. Believe me. Heaven will mess up our religion and religiosity. Heaven will humble us. We won’t understand the power of grace until we see those who will be in heaven. Then we will realize that Jesus wasn’t kidding when He screamed IT IS FINISHED.
The earlier you get used to loving those with big tattoos and genuinely appreciate your brotherhood with them, the better for your eternity. I don’t care what your opinion is about such people – Love them. I don’t care what you think of single moms, love them. I don’t care what you think about divorcees, love them. I don’t care what you think about the person you condemned in your heart, LOVE THEM. That’s the only valid commandment in the New Covenant. Love people despite what your religious brain tells you about them.
Stop condemning people based on your personal standards and start judging people based on the standard of the Finished Work of Christ.
I hate religion because it condemns the weak and worships the strong. I love Grace because it is God’s wisdom to make both the strong and the weak equal and equally accepted in Christ.
You will never catch me segregating against those that religion called sinners. Jesus came just to be the friends of such people. People like me. People who wouldn’t have gotten anything right in their lives except for the intervention of Grace. People like me. We are the reason for this season.
In 2018, we will not only repeat the mantra that Christianity is not a religion…we will literally De-Religionize Christianity. We are not joking. An army has risen and they have been anointed to separate religion from our spirituality. This army will present the gospel in its purest form void of mammon and successfully transfer the pure gospel to the next generation.
We are in the season of Apostolic Reformation and Only Christ Jesus shall be exalted.
