BREADTH of MIND (The gentle influence of information)
After going through this article, am quite convinced that somebody out there is going to be mentally metamorphosed and enhanced to understand how information smoothly and gently initiates tremendous transformation in our lives.
With all the other senses that help us acquire and receipt information, the sense of hearing owns a greater percentage of the credit for accumulating it much more than any other.
It is through it that news can be quickly, easily and widely spread amongst people, for instance when something either good or bad happens somewhere, we might not be there at the actual scene yet we can get to know of it through hearing from people who may have had been there when it happened.
However due to some technological developments our eyesight now plays a relative role in assisting us to induct information through various social platforms and networks as we can read and be enlightened prior to certain developments and occurrences.
Being overwhelmed by some ecstatic and upbeat mood this other day, I decided to play a prank on someone to whom my presence in their life is worthy beyond evaluation.
I took my phone, sent them a message pretending to be someone else and conveyed the news about how i had been involved in a car accident and admitted in a hospital for medical attention and treatment.
As soon as they received the message they noted my alleged fate with great concern and began to devoutly ascertain the state of my fare in the nervous uncertainty about whether i was in a way doing well or not.
When I realised how anxiously worried they were getting, I immediately informed them that i was just but pulling their leg, in the circumspection to avoid some potential traumatic shock that would even result in a stroke or rather death.
Look here, in as much as I was all healthy and sound, the reception of the wrong information prior to my fare stimulated sudden uneasiness that apparently changed their social mood prompting them to act and react accordingly.
Now, using the consequences of my action, i can also have an imaginary clue about what the same piece of news would have brought about to the mind and mood of someone who is perhaps my foe….they would obviously greatly appreciate such a turn of events!
Isn’t it so amazing how irregardless of the level of it’s genuineness, information induces a mood and tempo into our mind?
Ever since the fall of man in the early age, their coming to the knowledge of good and evil concurrently made accumulated information the major fuelling drive for every mankind’s action…an outcome that puts us in between the intensified rift of our inability to be effective without it and our vulnerability of being misled and destroyed by it.
Just like the significance of time is variant according to our diverse situations at hand, the influence of the reception of information in relation to the way we respond to it is contrariety correspondingly to one’s given life experience and perspective….the same information that revives one person, deprives the other of hope.
